About The Position

SUMMARY: Prepares pallets of finished product for shipment or storage and loads pallets onto the company truck.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one year related work experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have the ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to add, subtract whole numbers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral form.
• Electric Pallet Jack Certification.

Responsibilities

• Removes full pallets of product from both the tray and pouch lines, and wrap the pallets using the stretch wrapper.
• Ensures the pallet is tagged properly.
• Operates an electric pallet jack to deliver and safely load the finished pallets onto the company truck.
• Delivers packaging and supplies from Carton & Case staging area to either line as needed.
• Assists the case stacker as needed.
• Maintains the electric pallet jack.
