About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and documentation of materials throughout the facility. This role supports Stockroom, Receiving, and Production operations by ensuring materials are accurately identified, properly handled, and delivered in a timely manner. A strong focus on safety, inventory accuracy, and documentation is essential to prevent production delays and maintaining high quality customer delivery.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail when reading part numbers, scanning materials, and completing documentation.
• Ability to accurately count, record, and verify materials and inventory transactions.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts (training provided if equipment operation expands).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work assigned overtime, including weekends when required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, distribution, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions, pull sheets, pick lists, and related documentation.
• Locate, retrieve, and stage materials by accurately matching part numbers and alphanumeric sequences.
• Use mobile scanning devices and warehouse management systems to record material transactions, including issues, receipts, and transfers.
• Maintain accurate inventory by documenting all material movements and reporting discrepancies or damaged items.
• Interpret and verify information on purchase orders, packing slips, receivers, and ERP (Visual) entries.
• Deliver materials to designated areas, including production or assembly lines.
• Assist with restocking, cycle counts, and material replenishment activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with facility safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
