About The Position
The Inventory Control / Material Handler is responsible for receiving, organizing, and tracking materials to ensure accurate inventory and efficient warehouse operations. This role supports production by maintaining proper material flow and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Strong counting and measuring skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for the full shift
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Receive, move, and organize parts in designated areas
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Load and unload materials and deliver them to proper locations
- Communicate with the Inventory Manager regarding discrepancies or issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete tasks on time and meet productivity goals
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
