(protomet.com/apprentice) FUNCTION: Material Handlers at Protomet ensure the wheel keeps moving, keeping the flow of goods around the plant while also cutting the raw stock down to the machinable bars we need. A self-starter is ideal for this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver material to multiple machines and finished goods to our shipping department
- Track flow of goods around the shop
- Loading/unloading flatbed and box trucks
- Assist the shipping department with orders
