Position Summary... What you'll do... Key Responsibilities: Complete work assignments and set priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners. Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; and recommend improvements. Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacers). Identify, count, separate, combine, and scan freight using warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners. Maintain accurate records, logs, and forms. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and executing business processes with integrity. Keep work areas organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using appropriate equipment. Monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance. The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
