About The Position

Are you looking to apply your material handler skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? If so, we encourage you to apply for a Material Handler position at ConMet - Canton to support our Production & Shipping Department operations. Shift: Days What You Will Do: Follow written work instructions. Complete daily forklift checklist. Transport materials/parts to correct locations effectively and timely to ensure no impact to the internal and external customers. Safely load/unload trailers using electric forklift. Pull/stage customer orders from warehouse. Keep Warehouse/Raw Material / Packaging storage areas organized and clean. Put away material in designated locations. Accurately record material movements via scan gun transactions to ensure accurate inventory. Notify supervisor of unresolved problems. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) strongly preferred
  • Minimum twelve months of related experience and/or training
  • Forklift operation proficiency
  • Ability to accurately operate a scan gun
