About The Position

Position Overview: Good Earth Tools is looking for a high energy, self-motivated individual to join our Ballast Tools Equipment (BTE) division as a Material Hander. The successful candidate will be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to adjust to changing priorities. Primary Responsibilities Unload and store incoming materials and products Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory Prepare component products for assembly by identifying their location, then pulling, organizing, and delivering them to the appropriate work cell Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move product Perform and report cycle counts Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Why you'll love working here: Earn more – We offer competitive wages and the opportunity for annual merit increases as you progress in your career. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required
Prefer a minimum of one year of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; previous experience in operating material handling equipment required
Must have the ability to obtain forklift certification upon hire
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance is required
Must have the ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
Must have the ability to work 40 hours a week and maintain a punctual, reliable attendance record
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime is strongly preferred
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, grasp, climb, read, talk, write and hear, to perform the essential functions of this job
Must also be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The following should be expected to be encountered: long periods of standing, frequent lifting, pushing and pulling, noise within the plant
