About The Position
NABRICO Marine Products is a leading manufacturer of marine equipment supporting U.S. inland waterways. With over 100 years of experience, NABRICO produces high-quality components such as winches, hatches, castings, and deck hardware used on barges, towboats, and dock facilities. Position Summary We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to support warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate movement of materials, inventory control, and preparation of products for shipment.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Ability to read shop drawings or blueprints preferred
- Experience with jib cranes or overhead cranes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to unload and move materials from trailers and containers
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production and shipping needs
- Package and prepare outbound shipments, including labeling and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete cycle counts
- Assemble products and components as needed
- Safely operate power tools and material-handling equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
