About The Position
The Inventory / Material Handler is responsible for receiving, moving, and organizing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring proper material flow, inventory accuracy, and a safe, organized work environment.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Strong counting, measuring, and inventory tracking skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of the shift
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Receive, move, and organize parts in designated storage areas
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Load and unload materials and deliver them to appropriate locations
- Communicate with the Inventory Manager regarding discrepancies or issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete assigned tasks within required timelines
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
