Job Purpose: The Material Handler will work to ensure proper packaging and movement of materials, as well as perform inventory control activities to maintain inventory accuracy.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and write and communicate in English
Basic computer literacy
Able to learn NTI warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) and obtain required certifications
Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours per day
Noise level is moderate
Ability to positively react to a constant changing environment, subject to priority changes and short notice activity
Frequently lift up to 75 lbs
Occasional overtime is required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with an ERP system
Previous experience within an industrial environment
Previous inventory management experience
Experience within medical devices

Responsibilities

Ensures inventory accuracy meets management expectation
Executes picking and put-away of materials
Executes inventory cycle counts and material reconciliations
Ensures packaging of finished goods is completed seamlessly to sustain production runs
Complies with all procedures and policies concerning quality and medical device regulations
Comply with Employee Handbook, the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, and Company policies
Perform other work-related duties and special projects as required
Ensures compliance with a safe work environment according to federal, state, and Northgate policies and OSHA if applicable
