About The Position

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a Material Handler for our Dallas, Oregon facility! The selected candidate will work in our shipping department and must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This role is onsite (not remote/not hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon location and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

  • WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Works in a machine shop environment.
  • May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 60 lbs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
  • Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
  • Occasional local travel may be required.

  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
  • ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

  • Receive materials into stock
  • Pick materials and deliver to downstream & upstream, internal customers/departments
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Perform cycle counts and end of month inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in a computer system
  • Coordinate with other staff to meet deadlines in a fast paced, quick turn environment
  • Final clean and packaging for a wide variety of products
  • Prepare all shipping paperwork using EpiCor, UPS and FedEx websites
  • Verify incoming shipments
  • Arrange occasional LTL and same-day shipments
  • Local pickup and delivery back-up
  • Coordinate with other staff shipping deadlines in a fast-paced, quick-turn environment
