Position Summary The Material Handler I supports basic material handling tasks to keep production running smoothly. This entry-level role focuses on moving, packaging, and organizing materials safely and accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Basic understanding of inventory and shipping processes (training provided).
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.
• Action-Oriented: Works with energy and urgency.
• Team Player: Cooperates and communicates well with others.
• Adaptable: Open to learning and change.
• Detail-Oriented: Pays attention to accuracy in tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between storage and production areas using carts or pallet jacks.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials safely.
• Help verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Package and label goods following company guidelines.
• Maintain simple inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep work areas organized and materials properly stored.
• Operate basic material handling tools (hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely.
