Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must understand Warehouse Management Systems and processes.
• Work 12-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods.
• Climb approved ladders and movable steps.
• Heed safety warnings, devices, and alarms.
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 65 lbs (two-person or mechanical assist required above 65 lbs).
• Possess adequate problem-solving ability and determine cause-and-effect relationships in office or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
• Accurately control inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, including requisitioning, receipt, storage, handling, scanning, and shipping.
• Accurately account for all material movements, including in-plant product holds.
• Perform incoming trailer inspections as assigned.
• Read and understand written specifications, procedures, safety information, and packaging diagrams.
• Accurately control inventory throughout the entire process.
• Other duties as necessary.
