About The Position

Under direct supervision, work on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Perform administrative/physical tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements

Ability to lift 35 lbs. Ability to wear a respirator, hearing protection, gloves, and to continually wear eye protection.
The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions.
The ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a cross-cultural, demanding, and dynamic environment.
The ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat of harm to him/herself, others, or property.
The ability to adhere to EBARA personnel policies and practices, including the attendance and punctuality requirements.

High School diploma or GED, or Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience.
General ability in the use of personal computing hardware and software to enter information, such as, pcs, weight, and tracking. General knowledge of processes and tools to maintain, archive, and retrieve digital files. General knowledge of receiving and sending emails
Possesses a general understanding of receiving orders and signing for delivery.
Must be able to differentiate carriers i.e. FedEx, UPS, Etc.

Nice To Haves

0-3 Years of Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook
0-4 years of Experience managing inventory and the ability to perform regular inventory cycle counts.
0-4 years of experience working for a freight forwarder.
0-4 years of experience in the warehouse.
0-4 years of experience driving a forklift
Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator.
Speaking in front of groups. Strong time management skills. Self-starter.
Working knowledge of material handling equipment.
Working knowledge of shipping and receiving protocol documents.

Responsibilities

Responsible for receiving all deliveries made and allocating them to the correct stock location or department.
Data Entry - Responsible for receiving all deliveries made and allocating them to the correct stock location or department.
Offsite packaging of parts and products (requires some travel).
Unloading trucks. Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
Break down pallets and remove outer packaging, which requires the use of hand tools and power tools.
Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.
Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.
Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Confirming quantity received matches purchase orders.
Comply with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies.
