Location/Division Specific Information: Analytical Instruments Group 527 Lakeside Drive Sunnyvale CA 94085 Shift Time: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm How Will You Make an Impact?: Responsible for the shipping of hazardous finished goods to our customers and assisting in the areas of receiving, shipping and warehousing as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to rapidly changing workload demands.
  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Shipping Team to ensure shipments are acquired to optimally meet the daily revenue requirements.
  • Count, store, receive, and accurately process materials to finish goods for storage and/or shipment in line with established procedures and customer requirements.
  • Handle dangerous goods as needed with caution and safety.
  • Count items accurately when receiving and conducting inventory.
  • Operate forklift and electric jack according to accurate safety guidelines.
  • Perform inventory duties as needed.
  • Deliver packages received to appropriate employees.
  • Work cooperatively and efficiently with co-workers in all departments with little supervision, presenting verbally and/or in writing any discrepancies.
  • Report any actual or potential safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management.
