About The Position

Under the direction of the Shipping & Receiving Manager this position moves completed units and stock throughout the shop and completes paperwork as needed. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time:

Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment as a material handler
Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience
Must have valid driver's license
Ability to read a tape measurer
Ability to work overtime
Ability to drive a fork lift
Attention to detail
Willing to assist others when their tasks are complete
Positive attitude

Responsibilities

Get departure list and/or written verbal instructions from Shipping & Receiving Manager
Moves completed items throughout the shop using a forklift
Unloads and transfers raw materials to correct departments
Deliver and pick up material/parts from vendors
Routes paperwork to appropriate personnel
Complete daily forklift checklist
Meet the daily production schedule as provided by supervision
Assure that that all raw materials are placed in the correct holding areas
Regular and reliable attendance
Follow safety procedures and instructions
Maintain productivity throughout shift
Other duties as assigned
