About The Position

Arcadia Beverage, in Arden, NC, is a pasteurized cold fill scale contract packager of non-alcoholic / non-carbonated beverages for major retailers and food service distributors. We make orange juices, lemonades, and teas in ready to drink bottles. We are currently looking for an energetic, dedicated and flexible, Material Handler (Fork Lift Operator) to join our outstanding team! The main role will be moving finished good pallets from production into the refrigerated warehouse (35 degrees). The role also includes GMP cleaning responsibilities, inventory counting and computer usage. The position would be Full Time (at least 30 hours per week) with the opportunity for 40 and/or Overtime, depending on plant volume and candidate's willingness to be flexible with schedule. Base Schedule will be: Monday / Tuesday / Thursday - 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (30 hours) Additional Potential Days: Wednesday 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (depends on plant volume) Other Potential Shift Opportunities: Friday / Saturday / Sunday - 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Loading Trucks) More About Arcadia: At Arcadia, we are committed to an open and transparent environment where we as humans can bring our whole self to the workplace. Requirements

  • Forklift certification or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and/or RF Scanning.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, coach and mentor, embracing a learning and development team-based environment, regardless of role.

Responsibilities

  • Determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed by reading work orders or requisitions.
  • Transports materials and items from receiving or production areas to designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on shelves to pre-determined sequence such as type, style or product code and lot.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Uses ERP system to enter data.
  • Prepare and take periodic cycle count inventory.
  • Identifies damaged materials.
