About The Position

Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various materials to designated areas via forklift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills that include the ability to read, write and speak English.
• Certified under the Gold Eagle Forklift Training Program or equivalent.
• 1-3 years work experience operating a forklift in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Must have a clear attendance, safety, and disciplinary record for the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and write English so as to enable him/her to identify, locate, organize and return packaging components, materials, etc.
• Load, unload, wrap and move a variety of materials and products from various given areas to other designated areas.
• Report Finished Product and apply production label to pallet.
• Stack and unstack pallets in safe and proper manner.
• Follow instructions as designated by immediate supervisor in the performance of the above duties (be it identification, counts, shortages, damage, etc.).
• Fills in on production lines as required and directed by immediate supervisor.
• Inspects for quality, finished product.
• Operates forklift in safe, responsible manner.
• Keeps immediate supervisor properly informed.
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
