About The Position

You will be the Material Expediter for the Production, Planning and Control organization. Our team is responsible for coordinating the flow of materials and ensuring on‑time delivery of parts across the enterprise. What You Will Be Doing As the Material Expediter you will be responsible for driving the efficient movement of parts and components throughout the supply chain. You will partner with multiple functions to keep production humming. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Generate and manage move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests to expedite parts delivery. Coordinate inter‑departmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration. Maintain accurate Bill‑of‑Materials (BOM) plans and adjust schedules to meet changing demand. Travel to or communicate with production sites and vendor locations as required. Support operations outside normal working hours to address urgent material needs. Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
Black Belt trained / certified
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
SAP experience
