Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Material Analyst located in US Texas Austin Research Blvd. Reporting to the Sr. Director Materials the Material Analyst, will provide direct contribution to teams according to established policies and goals. Demonstrates skills in guiding and/or facilitating continuous Improvement projects. What a typical day looks like: Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics, and charts based on the inspection of data. May assist in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the inspection of data. Collects, compiles, evaluates, and presents various types of data. Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on inspection of data from multiple sources, which may include but will not be limited to customer bills of material reports, staff metrics, PPV metrics, and PPV form tracking. May create and/or maintain databases in support of data collection. Audits data. Resolves data integrity issues, including but not limited to quotations. Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics. Where applicable, suggest process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities. Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required May support inventory control, supply chain management, material planning and scheduling. Develop commodity spend profiles/breaks-downs: manage time profiling, inventory positioning, and site execution to price. Establish common pricing evaluation tools Provide detailed bill of materials evaluation by site Perform general reporting and inspection activities for score carding of suppliers. Validate site pricing through implementation of a common cost review and pricing process. Assist in the supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI. Provide PPV targeting, tracking and asset velocity. Implementation of contractual excess and obsolescence terms with customer/supplier-managed inventory programs. Development of process improvements concerning inventory-related process steps and support implementation. Design, manage and control all data evaluation tools

Requirements

  • +7 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Must have Excel experience.
  • MRP system Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain experience
  • Finance background
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Great communication and presentations skills
  • Previous experience working in a Manufacturing industry

Nice To Haves

  • Baan, Kinaxis knowledge plus.
  • Master’s degree is a preference
