About The Position
Matador Records seeks a Summer Apprentice interested in gaining hands-on experience in the Music Industry. This opportunity will provide a solid foundational understanding of the music industry, exposing you to departments including Radio Promotions, Publishing, Marketing, Digital Operations and Catalogue as well as allowing you the opportunity to start to build a network of contacts. Please note that this apprenticeship will give you an insight into working in a range of different departments at Beggars but is not an A&R focused opportunity. Requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Interest in learning about marketing, sales, and record distribution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Matador Records a plus.
- Understanding of various digital platforms, a plus.
Responsibilities
- Fulfilling tasks assigned by a supervisor.
- Job shadowing.
- Collaborate with department staff in project planning and execution.
- Learn technical skills related to the industry.
- Conduct research and provide suggestions for improvement.
