About The Position

The Matador Sales Representative works diligently filling the sales funnel with validated opportunities and developing future customer partnerships to ultimately increase a positive outcome and increase volume of the sales cycle. Through communication, account creation, inventory management, inbound lead processing, outbound calling, and computer and software applications (i.e., CRM, Facebook and LinkedIn for example), you will further potential opportunities through the sales funnel while building long term relationships with future customers, Matador Structures, and its Dealer Network. Identified partnership opportunities will ultimately be input into the sales funnel through the virtual documentation process.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn and navigate CRM systems and lead management tools such as Zoho Chat, Facebook, and other platforms.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in addressing customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing.

Responsibilities

  • Prospects, researches, and provides information for new Dealer Partnerships.
  • Hosts regular meetings, both virtually and in person, with existing Dealer Partnerships to maintain good standing relationships and continued education efforts.
  • Coordinates, communicates, and consults with customers to create quotes based on their specific site needs.
  • Documents result in CRM database with clear concise notes and set tasks for future follow up.
  • Communicates with purchaser concerning their pole barn order and educates them on product processes and company delivery capabilities.
  • Partners with Marketing to send follow-up emails and marketing material to maintain communications for future opportunities.
  • Partners with Logistics to ensure accurate data is presented before customer deliveries are scheduled and completed.
  • Completes daily task log ensuring customers are promptly communicated with.
