About The Position

To identify and intervene with at-risk populations to mitigate psychosocial barriers to optimal care outcomes. Social workers provide services to children, adolescents, and adult patients/families/staff at Children's Mercy and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with internal and external team members. Requirements

• Master's Degree MSW from Accredited Program and 1-2 years experience
• One of the following: Licensed Master's Social Worker KS, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS required upon hire
• One of the following: Licensed Master's Social Worker MO, Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO required upon hire
• Employees must obtain Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO or equivalent within 30 days
• Employees must obtain Licensed Master's Social Worker KS or equivalent within 90 days
• Employees must obtain Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS or equivalent within 90 days
• LMSW KS Licensed Master's Social Worker KS must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days
• LMSW MO Licensed Master's Social Worker MO must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days
• LCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days
• LSCSW KS Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment OR Required 90 Days
