Master Service Technician - Glass and Door Services
About The Position

If you've never met a situation you couldn't fix-we want to talk to you. The Glass Doctor of North Texas is seeking a Master Service Technician who lives and breathes glazing. This is not just another glass installation job-this is a role for someone who thrives on troubleshooting, thinking creatively, and owning the outcome.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in glazing, service work, or commercial/residential glass.
- Master-level understanding of doors, storefronts, windows, commercial hardware, and glass systems.
- You don't just fix things-you figure things out.
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and adapt on the fly.
- Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and your brain.
Nice To Haves
- Have experience with emergency board-ups or specialty glass (fire-rated, bullet-resistant, etc.)
- Know your way around access control or automatic door systems.
- Like being the person who gets it done when no one else can.
Responsibilities
- Responding to a variety of service calls: glass replacements, door repairs, commercial hardware issues, custom retrofits, and more.
- Diagnosing problems quickly and accurately-then solving them with confidence.
- Working hands-on with glass, aluminum, hardware, weatherstripping, and seals-you're the go-to expert for it all.
- Communicating clearly with customers and internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
- Taking initiative and making decisions in the field-because you know what you're doing.
