Door Service Technician
About The Position

Midland Door Solutions, a leader in the manufacture and installation of bi-fold and hydraulic doors, is actively seeking service technicians to join our team. We offer turnkey installation services for customers throughout the Upper Midwest and nationwide. We are committed to providing our employees and customers with the best experience possible. We are growing and looking for quality individuals to join our team. This position requires 75% travel throughout the Upper Midwest. We cover all your essentials, hotels, meals, paid drive time, and provide you with a company vehicle.
Requirements
- A clean driving record and DOT check
- Valid drivers’ license (required)
- CANDIDATES OFFERED EMPLOYMENT ARE REQUIRED TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.
Responsibilities
- Complete service & repairs on Bi-Fold and Hydraulic doors
- Ability to communicate with customers on needed repairs
- Ability to run forklifts and scissor lifts
- Assist in installation of doors when need is required
- Common knowledge of hand tools and other construction equipment
- Work from heights above 20 feet
- Willingness to travel Monday through Friday
- Willingness to work 50-60 hours per week (overtime pay for hours worked over 40)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
