About The Position

The Clinician will work in a community behavioral health setting, providing services to individuals, couples and/or families experiencing a mental health and/or substance use need. Services will include provision of comprehensive assessment, ongoing counseling for mental health, substance use and co-occurring presentations, case management and collaboration, referrals to community support services and psychoeducation, utilizing evidence-based practices. The Clinician will work with the Clinic Director to design and lead/co-lead groups meeting the unique needs of the greater community and agency. The BestLife Emotional Health & Wellness Center provides compassionate, person-centered care for individuals, families, and couples facing mental health and substance use challenges. Using evidence-based approaches, our team supports both short-term needs and long-term recovery through services such as assessments, individual, group, family, and couples therapy, substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment, medication management, case coordination, and recovery support. Care is delivered by licensed clinicians and overseen by a board-certified psychiatrist, ensuring high-quality, supportive treatment every step of the way. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is preferred
  • Independent license or license eligible preferred (LICSW, LMHC, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, treatment planning, and consultation for pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, positive behavior plans, medication treatment plans, and related interventions.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner, meeting regulatory standards.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and collaborate with teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans.
  • Actively participate in licensing, accreditation, and compliance processes.
  • Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners; establish and maintain relationships to support programs, partnerships, and funding opportunities.
  • Pursue professional growth through conferences, trainings, statewide meetings, task forces, committees, and other relevant activities.
  • Promote and integrate agency mission, values, philosophy, and principles in all aspects of work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.
