Emerging areas of focus include metal additive manufacturing, blockchain for supply chain, sensor integration, and propulsion test facilities. Moog has an opening for a Master Planner for the Assembly & Test department on our growing Operations team. As a Master Planner, you will play a critical role in aligning customer satisfaction with operational efficiency. You'll develop and manage the machine shop master schedule, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely delivery of components. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and occasional travel to suppliers and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics or another relevant field and 4 years of planning experience or an associate's degree and 10 years of planning experience.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Kinaxis Rapid Response experience
  • Certifications related to planning and lean manufacturing a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer and business goals
  • Monitor and adjust plans to protect internal build and shipment timelines
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve material and capacity constraints
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies
  • Make strategic make/buy/where decisions aligned with product line goals
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Mentor new team members
  • Maintain the integrity of data that supports the material requirements planning and capacity requirements planning processes
  • Evaluate forecasts and internal sales orders, working with Sales and Manufacturing to resolve issues.
  • Develop and present Sales and Operations Plan to top management and ensure that the master schedule and the Sales and Operations Plan are in agreement.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization from production floor to executive leadership.
  • Be an individual contributor that works with little supervision.
  • Contribute results on larger, complex projects, processes or programs.
