About The Position

Chugach is seeking a Master Planner to support the U.S. Coast Guard Acquisition team in planning and scheduling USCG surface assets. The candidate will assist O4/GS-14 PM-level personnel with coordination across PAC and LANT areas, supporting the implementation of critical systems on various cutter classes. The Master Planner must be self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities include supporting the government Team Lead, assisting with cutter scheduling, and managing multiple C5I acquisition and sustainment programs. Work Location: Remote Travel: Up to 20%

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Recent experience with DHS, DoD, or other government agencies in program support of C5I system to include 15+ years’ experience in USCG Acquisitions support
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs.

  • Strong proficiency in developing acquisition documentation, briefings, and presentations.
  • Knowledge of integrated product team (IPT) processes and program lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform process analysis / program management and support for a CG-C2CI integrated Product Team (IPT) to include planning, tracking, executing, and validating the scope, schedule of systems installation, testing and planning on USCG Cutters, for the USCG.
  • Provide direct support to the Program Manager and senior IPT members assisting with developing acquisition strategy and senior leadership communications.
  • Attend the meeting on behalf of the Assistant Program Manager and present the interests of the USCG C5I Team.
  • Lead development of critical documents, presentations and other products, in direct coordination with the Program Managers to ensure senior leadership communication effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and lead ongoing PM indicated efforts as well as tasks required from outside C2CI, to support scheduling of system installation and testing.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate USCG cutter systems installations and testing.
  • Ability to support the Program Manager and IPT with acquisition strategy and leadership communications.
  • Ability to prepare key documents, presentations, and program deliverables.
  • Ability to represent the C5I Team in meetings and coordinating cross-functional efforts.
  • Ability to ensure tasks are completed accurately, on time, and aligned with USCG objectives.
