About The Position

This position is responsible finishing a case from start to finish.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to read a route card
• Previous finishing experience necessary
• Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, and bend over the course of 8 hours
• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Must be able to work in environment with finishing fumes
• Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 40 lbs.; up to 100 lbs. with assistance

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sanding and cleaning cases
• Ensures case finishes equalize in color, stain, spray and work filler and glaze, and spray lacquers
• Completes finishing handwork (whip, spatter, cow tail, etc.)
• Reads a finish formula
• Ensures used rags are put in the correct containers
• Responsible for lids being closed on all finishing cans and rag bins
• Repairs cases as needed
• Possesses knowledge of all lacquer and Relthane based materials
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
