Steel-toe boot/shoe allowance ($200) and prescription safety glasses after 60 days.  Job Summary:   The Finisher position involves consistent hands-on work, including regular heavy lifting, to prepare trailers for delivery. Finish team members take pride in making sure each trailer is clean, fully functional, and looks its best. This includes checking electrical components, parts inspections, and overall appearance so the final product is ready for safe transport. Our employees work as part of a team building quality trailers while providing dependable workmanship and outstanding service. The position requires working safely in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and keeping a clean, organized workspace throughout the day.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred or other equivalent and relevant demonstrated skills and experience.
  • Able to work 10 hour shifts with potential overtime.
  • Possess good physical stamina and coordination with the ability to safely lift up to 80 pounds with prolonged periods of standing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to read and interpret work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure your own safety by always using designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools designed and rated for the task, complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report to work on time to support production startup and throughput goals.
  • Operate all power tools and machinery on the assembly line effectively and respectfully.
  • Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and product inspections by completing final inspection sheets, as directed by assigned production supervisor.
  • Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to shift startup to ensure the safety of you and your coworkers, as well as the operational effectiveness of equipment.
  • Axle, wire, deck, and inspect trailers, as assigned by production supervisor.
  • Connect lights and test electrical components to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Place stickers and decals on the trailer as needed.
  • Mount tires to prepare the trailer for transport.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Assist in other areas and perform other duties, as needed.
