About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall finishing operation of furniture, including repair, spraying, detailing, highlighting, sanding and distressing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous finishing experience a plus
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling and twisting throughout the day
• Frequent repetitive motions requiring grasping, pushing/pulling and fine hand manipulation
• Occasional reaching at or below shoulder level may be required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; rarely up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inspecting & repairing high end quality furniture is free from defects
• Responsible for ensuring color match is correct
• Responsible for all facets of the wood finishing process including repair, burn-ins, spraying, detailing, highlighting, sanding, and destressing
• Uses a variety of machines including but not limited to rub machine & pallet jack, as well as operates numerous hand tools
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
