About The Position

The HIL - Master Data Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data across the organization. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining master data records, coordinating data governance activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations. The coordinator will serve as a key liaison between data owners, IT, and business units to facilitate data quality improvements and compliance with company standards. By overseeing data entry, validation, and updates, the role ensures that master data supports efficient decision-making and operational excellence. Ultimately, the Master Data Coordinator contributes to the organization's ability to leverage reliable data for strategic initiatives and daily business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data management, master data coordination, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with data management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other major ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Certification in data management or related disciplines (e.g., CDMP).
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and reporting software.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain master data records in relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather, validate, and update master data as needed.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality standards.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and identify areas for improvement, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support audits and compliance activities related to master data management.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot data issues and implement system enhancements.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on master data processes and best practices.
  • Generate reports and documentation related to master data status and changes.
