The Master and Reference Data Strategy Group Manager is responsible for defining and establishing the Enterprise-wide Master and Reference Data Strategy for the enterprise in coordination with the Data Governance team. The overall objective is to support the creation, maintenance and adoption of a unified and consistently defined fit-for-purpose enterprise-wide Reference and Master Data domains. This role is responsible for the governance framework and supporting processes to effectively govern and embed Master and Reference Data across Citi. The responsibilities will include designing relevant processes to govern domain level capabilities and data lifecycle capabilities, and/or integrate demand and supply, while managing delivery across Operations, Technology, Risk and Controls, Finance, Risk and Compliance processes. A good understanding of business processes across client onboarding, operations, risk and finance within the financial services industry and data management is essential. The role entails leading a team of professionals. This position requires a thorough understanding of enterprise data capabilities combined with practical experience of implementing them in a complex organization. Excellent communication skills are required to influence internally, often at a senior level.
