About The Position

What Youll Do: Support & Empower Patients Provide compassionate consultations and fittings for mastectomy products, compression garments, and wigs, helping patients feel their best during recovery. Blend Healthcare with Retail Expertise Assist with merchandising, stocking, and managing inventory while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Customize Treatment Plans Assess patients, formulate personalized fitting plans, and ensure proper product selection to meet their unique needs. Manage Sales & Operations Process transactions, maintain inventory in the Point-of-Sale system, and contribute to marketing efforts that enhance boutique services. Ensure Compliance & Documentation Prepare and maintain medical records while meeting all regulatory and insurance requirements. Advance Your Skills Get certified as a Mastectomy Fitter (CMF) and receive training in compression fittings to expand your expertise. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 years experience in retail/healthcare setting with knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
- Experience in fitting mastectomy and compression garments, bras and wigs.
- Certified Mastectomy Fitter (CMF) preferred or willingness to be trained and certified within 6 months of hire.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to be sensitive to customer and patient needs.
- Comfortable working with patients in various stages of treatment.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into various platforms (Microsoft office suite and databases).
- Proficiency using a cash register/point of sale system.
