Woodhouse Spas are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Massage Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will guide guests through our service offerings, helping them choose treatments that meet their true needs. You will provide customized, luxury body treatments in a way that prioritizes the well-being of the guest while maintaining proper body mechanics to ensure your own long-term professional health.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid State License (Required).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members to ensure a seamless service flow.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make professional decisions based on job knowledge and company goals.
  • Ability to customize treatments based on a guest’s specific physical needs and health history.
  • Must be able to be on your feet for the majority of the workday.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Must have the physical stamina to perform multiple services during a single shift.
  • Must utilize proper body mechanics to prevent injury to wrists and other parts of the body.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced Licensed Massage Therapist preferred.
  • Luxury Spa experience is highly preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in multiple modalities and a passion for the craft of massage therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Is a steward of the Woodhouse brand and follows all established standards and protocols.
  • Performs exemplary services, including a variety of massage modalities (such as deep tissue and hot stone) and signature body treatments.
  • Consults with guests to obtain detailed health histories, understand their needs, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Maintains a sanitized environment, ensuring treatment rooms and tools are cleaned using approved products and procedures.
  • Manages treatment room logistics, including maintaining proper inventory levels and removing soiled laundry.
  • Supports team operations by assisting with laundry, opening/closing duties, and reporting maintenance issues to management.
  • Engages in continuous growth, including a willingness to receive training on new procedures and performing team member services as part of cross-training.
  • Collaborates effectively with other Team Members and Managers while providing a high-end experience for every guest.
  • Ensures consistent attendance, which is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
