JOB SUMMARY: Provides entertainment for Team Fans during game day performances and outside appearances. HOURLY RATE: $30.00 per hour ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Perform backup mascot duties on a part-time basis. Perform at a variety of scheduled appearances throughout the year (5-10/month). Preserve the identity of the mascot without deviating from established character including: - Body Language/Mannerisms - Attitude - Fan interaction - Team representation. Maintain and care for mascot costume as well as props, equipment and vehicle. All other duties as assigned. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous professional mascot experience required (please provide video footage of performance). Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical and psychological evaluation. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold and rain. Ability to perform one or more of the following activities in an eight hour shift: walk, stand, climb stairs/ladder . Punctuality is required. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required. Fan-friendly and outgoing. Must work well with children and staff members at events. Creative, ambitious, energetic personality with the ability to motivate others. Ideal candidate should be in good physical condition and highly energetic. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidate height requirement for this position must range between 5'11 - 6'2.
