THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Seller Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for expanding UB Marketplace’s seller ecosystem by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential brands across strategic categories. This role is critical to driving growth, closing assortment gaps, and positioning UB Marketplace as a differentiated destination for beauty, wellness, and lifestyle innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketplace acquisition, ideally within eCommerce, retail, or consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of driving growth through seller or client acquisition.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across seller types and categories.
  • Familiarity with marketplace ecosystems and seller onboarding processes.
  • Highly organized, with experience managing pipelines and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new sellers across priority categories, aligned with UB Marketplace’s strategic assortment architecture.
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitches that articulate the value of joining UB Marketplace, leveraging Ulta Beauty’s brand equity, loyalty ecosystem, and guest reach.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective sellers, tracking outreach, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Partner with Seller Support to ensure seamless onboarding, including product listings, offer optimization, and logistics setup.
  • Collaborate with the Seller Account Manager to identify whitespace opportunities and category-level seller needs.
  • Share seller feedback and onboarding insights with cross-functional teams to inform product, operations, and marketing strategies.
