About The Position

Monetary Metals (MM) is a disruptive, high growth gold platform, which pays interest to savers, finances qualified businesses, and provides a liquid marketplace for gold leases and bonds. We are looking for an individual to refine and manage many crucial processes and tasks associated with our growing marketplace and assist with general operations responsibilities. This position is open to remote applicants and will report to the Vice President of Operations (VP Ops).

Requirements

10+ years total career experience in one or more of the following areas: finance, gold, accounting, or a related field.
Advanced project management skills including use of industry standard tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High EQ, ability to work well with a diverse range of personalities.
Experience documenting process improvements.
Ability to multitask on a broad range of projects.
Bachelor's degree in, Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or other related technical field.

Nice To Haves

Experience in back office at a bank, broker dealer or asset manager, a plus.
Financial analysis ability, a plus.
Certification and/or experience with LEAD or other process improvement methodology, a plus.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of the Monetary Metals Deal Marketplace. This project management responsibility encompasses all aspects of deal execution including coordinating the efforts of many internal stakeholders, developing and tracking detailed project schedules, and managing them from start to finish.
Manage and oversee the funding and recurring interest payments associated with lease and bond deals, working closely with the trade desk, origination team, and accounting.
Design and lead the process for SOP improvements across the company.
Work on special projects to improve operational systems.
Provide operational support for international expansion efforts.
Support and cross train on key operations functions.
