About The Position

The Marketing Technology Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of marketing technology duties in conformance with established policies, strategies, and procedures. Performs any functions necessary, within the scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to the marketing needs of the Bank.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced in website administration, WordPress preferred.
  • Experienced in the management of a wide range of business social media sites.
  • Teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to contribute to a fast-paced environment are must-haves for interested candidates.
  • High technological proficiency; early adopter of new technologies, mobile apps, etc.
  • Strong proper usage of the English language.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing, public relations, advertising, and other related sales software and design.
  • Basic knowledge of the banking and financial services industry including federal laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other public relations, and advertising software.
  • Skilled with Canva or similar graphics applications.
  • Skilled with simple video development and publishing
  • Willingness to gain new knowledge and technical skills.
  • Intermediate typing skills to meet the production needs of the position.
  • Intermediate math skills: the ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary website administrator, including editing, updating, and maintaining the Dedham Savings website.
  • Understand and fully utilize website CMS (WordPress).
  • Understand the complete website structure & navigation.
  • Create hidden URLs that interface with digital banking services. Maintain a record of hidden URLs and what they are used for.
  • Assist with posting product and service disclosures, including creating “friendly URLs” and redirects as needed.
  • Serve as primary contact with the Bank IT team, with ad agency website developer, and with website host (WordPress Engine).
  • Attend quarterly website hosting meetings with WordPress Engine, coming prepared with topics to discuss, keeping track of the next steps, and assuring steps are completed on time.
  • Utilize a change-detection program to monitor bank and competitor websites for all changes.
  • Maintain necessary tracking and record-keeping of website changes for Compliance audit/exam purposes. Manage and monitor website change request forms.
  • Assist other departments that have admin access to the website.
  • Update home page banners monthly.
  • Assist with ongoing website updates, posting of press releases and news articles, etc.
  • Work with Ad Agency web developer bi-annually to review website performance, using Google Analytics data, and take necessary steps to improve the site.
  • Oversee quarterly website review by departments, assuring all reviews are completed, and necessary changes discussed with the supervisor and implemented if appropriate.
  • Maintain website ATM Locator and website hours.
  • Update Alerts on the website as needed.
  • Maintain multiple Google My Business pages, including for the Bank as well as for individual Loan Officers.
  • Review Google Analytics (GA4) on an ongoing basis, assisting the Ad Agency with access as needed.
  • Maintain Yext software, assuring Bank listings across a range of social sites are accurate.
  • Via Yext, maintain all hours that appear on Google, including holiday hours.
  • Track and respond to Google Reviews in Yext, sharing with other departments using an established departmental process.
  • Create and maintain social media editorial calendar in coordination with VP Marketing that complements and supports Bank’s marketing & communication plan.
  • Draft and post content daily and manage Bank’s social networking sites, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. (All content preapproved by supervisor.)
  • Respond quickly to all comments and other interactions as needed. Share any complaints according to the bank’s complaint policy and procedure. Assure that any customers needing assistance are routed to the correct department.
  • Interact with other users on social media, responding, liking, tagging, etc. to grow to reach, audience, engagement, etc. Track the growth of all sites on an ongoing basis.
  • Assure header images are updated on an annual basis.
  • Assist with social media raffles and special programs as needed.
  • Use Google Alerts to monitor bank-related mentions; share results with the supervisor.
  • Monitor Bank mentions on social sites and social ads, taking appropriate actions in response.
  • Track and respond to Yelp & Glassdoor Reviews in coordination with VP Marketing.
  • Track and respond to App Reviews on Apple & Google in coordination with VP Marketing.
  • Serve as primary user for digital screens service, Inlighten, and as primary contact with vendor for troubleshooting, system enhancements, etc.
  • Take advantage of newly available Inlighten content, videos, etc., if appropriate.
  • Maintain a calendar of posted materials, updating periodically to keep screens fresh.
  • Assist with the implementation of industry observances, such as Fraud Prevention Month, etc.
  • Assure accurate library of current screens is maintained in the Marketing network folder.
  • Assist with having updated screens created by designers when/if needed; assist with “screen stitching” for large 4-screen display.
  • Monitor screens in all branches daily, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Maintain Bank’s Zillow page, as well as Zillow pages for individual Loan Officers.
  • In coordination with EVP Retail, complete weekly rate changes, including updating the rate sheet and sharing information with branches and departments as appropriate.
  • Serve as department representative for intranet updates.
  • Serve as backup to Marketing Database Officer when needed.
  • Completes all internal Bank training as assigned and required.
  • Serve as tech support during Financial Wellness webinars as needed.
  • Complete all internal Bank training as assigned and required.
  • Adhere to the Bank’s privacy and data security policies including but not limited to safeguarding of sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.
