About The Position

SUMMARY Huber & Associates is seeking a charismatic, energetic and outgoing individual for our Marketing Specialist position. This role will be the face of Huber & Associates across the region — representing our brand at community, industry, and networking events throughout Mid-Missouri. They will amplify our brand's presence, nurture relationships with clients and partners, and embody Huber’s core values and culture of professionalism and hospitality. As a member of the First Impressions team, this role will work together with team members to provide support for front-desk operations—greeting visitors, managing calls, and delivering that unforgettable first impression for anyone connecting with Huber & Associates. The Marketing Specialist will report to the Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with other departments (such as sales) to ensure consistent, positive representation of the Huber brand.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is a natural networker who excels at forging meaningful connections at community gatherings, industry events, charity functions, golf outings, and high-energy networking mixers.
  • The candidate is comfortable with providing support for front desk operations and administrative tasks.
  • This position requires some local travel and after-hours availability for networking and special events.
  • Regional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Huber & Associates as a brand ambassador at community, client, and industry events across Mid-Missouri (Jefferson City, Columbia, Springfield, St. Louis, Kansas City).
  • Provide front desk support, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Answer phones and coordinate communication with other members of the team using our internal electronic ticketing system.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, luncheons, and after-hours community activities as a professional representative of the company.
  • Engage with community members, partners, and clients to promote brand awareness and foster positive relationships.
  • Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of Huber & Associates-hosted events such as luncheons, educational sessions, open houses, employee-focused gatherings, and appreciation events.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure consistent brand presentation and alignment with company messaging.
  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing campaigns using tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Help maintain event materials, branded merchandise, and displays for company and community events.
  • Ensure all interactions — whether in person, by phone, or via email — reflect the company’s values and commitment to service excellence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle all client and company information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
