ELS is hiring for the position of Sr. Marketing Specialist in Tampa, Florida. What you’ll do: The Marketing Specialist develops strategic partnerships with individual companies and clubs to enable the company to create mutually beneficial promotional and outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ year of business development, partner management and marketing experience.
  • Ability to establish, manage and expand third-party relationships.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
  • Strong presentation skills and a high degree of comfort with public speaking.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to calculate and analyze merchandise and promotional costs.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Present information and respond to questions from a variety of sources.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing third-party relationships and develop strategic alliances in the assigned market.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to increase exposure for assigned properties.
  • Leverage a variety of marketing channels, including local tradeshows, to engage new customers.
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of marketing materials (e.g., flyers, advertisements, brochures, etc.)
  • Work with local teams on property-specific initiatives and promotions.
  • Increase revenue and occupancy from target market customers.
  • Measure and analyze the success of specific marketing partnerships.
  • Increase the company’s brand awareness and local business.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and its business partners.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management with respect to the planning, implementation and ongoing management of all partnerships.
  • Maintain the marketing budget and cost expenditures.
  • Travel as required to develop partnerships and ensure that marketing initiatives support overall business goals.
  • Support various marketing and business development initiatives in other regions as needed.
