About The Position

Hays Electrical Services is seeking a Marketing & Recruiting Intern to support high-volume hiring through social media, job boards, and content creation. This is a recruiting-focused marketing role that plays a key part in attracting and engaging candidates across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while supporting ongoing recruiting efforts.

Requirements

  • Interest in marketing, recruiting, communications, or human resources
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms used for recruiting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language skills (spoken and/or written) a plus
  • Experience or coursework in marketing, communications, HR, or recruiting
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, preferably JazzHR
  • Basic content creation skills for recruiting posts

Responsibilities

  • Support high-volume recruiting through active candidate sourcing
  • Manage and update job postings in JazzHR or other ATS experience
  • Source candidates using: Facebook/Instagram LinkedIn Indeed Other job boards and social platforms as needed
  • Create and post recruiting-related content aligned with the company’s employer brand
  • Monitor inbound applicants and candidate messages
  • Assist recruiters with candidate outreach and pipeline management
  • Track sourcing activity and maintain organized records
