Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Public Relations preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • A collaborative mindset—someone who listens, builds relationships, and supports team goals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Confidence in monitoring project progress and supporting others to stay on track

Responsibilities

  • Support departmental projects by reviewing plans, tracking action items, and helping keep timelines, resources, and budgets on track.
  • Manage the intake and routing of marketing and PR requests.
  • Serve as a communication touchpoint for customers, prospects, and vendors.
  • Oversee marketing collateral in the resource center and ensure branch materials stay up to date.
  • Coordinate promotional item ordering and assist with ongoing marketing and PR initiatives.
  • Help plan and coordinate association events, department activities, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Provide logistical support for staff and customer meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Process invoices and assist leadership with expense tracking and budget oversight.
  • Keep the department running smoothly by supporting workflow efficiencies, mail and shipping needs, supply management, travel planning, and file/database organization.
  • Contribute to content for blogs, publications, internal communications, and other channels.
  • Assist with publishing, tracking, and monitoring content performance.
  • Provide proofreading and grammar support to ensure polished, professional communication.
