We offer a hybrid workplace with three days onsite in our Waitsfield, VT office (Tuesday-Thursday). Salary range $60-65k We are looking for a Creative Project Manager that can lead a significant number of projects from inception to completion for the internal marketing team at Cabot Creamery. This position brings a strategic eye and keen marketing sense to all requests tasked to the creative and digital team. Working closely with the Creative Manager, Senior Brand Designer, and Content & Communications Manager, this PM is a skilled problem solver who possesses an understanding of the creative process, for wide ranging projects including packaging, printed collateral, photography, web, digital, social, and video. Bringing sharp, solid communication skills and great brief-writing capabilities to this position is essential. Please have a thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools. Exceptional organizational skills will help you thrive in this position, as well as creative thinking and a strong eye for design. You will report to the Creative Manager with indirect support for Content & Communications Manager

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills, familiarity with Monday.com or other project management applications preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of project management experience in an agency or creative services environment.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with copywriters, both internal and freelance designers, video & photography editors, web developers and designers, and other creative resources.
  • General knowledge of file types, formats and specifications for production and web.
  • Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and facilitate creative feedback.
  • Proven time management, organizational and problem-solving skills; strong ability to juggle and meet multiple deadlines at once.
  • The ability to troubleshoot challenges as they arise with a problem-solving, positive mindset. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
  • General knowledge of Adobe creative software, Digital Asset Management & content management systems preferred.
  • Experience managing budgets. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a variety of projects, large and small in scope, with corresponding timelines, expectations, and budgets.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for all creative projects.
  • Act as the liaison between stakeholders and creative teams, converting requests into focused, designer‑ready briefs.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact with creative & content/communications team resources (designers, copywriters, photographers, editors, etc.) as needed to keep projects moving through production.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to identify and assign best-fitting resources for all assigned work and assess ongoing marketing needs; quickly addresses all time-sensitive issues and shifts timelines and deadlines as needed.
  • Lead briefing discussions, project kick-offs meetings, creative reviews, etc., ensuring all materials needed to conduct the meeting are available.
  • Work with Creative Manager to review all creative deliverables to ensure they meet brand standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate budget tracking to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
  • Digital asset management, ensuring files are organized, using defined naming convention.
  • Other duties as assigned.
