About florrent florrent is innovating to scale the next generation of high energy density supercapacitors. Our main facilities are located in Western Massachusetts, with this role embedding additional flexibility to work out of Greentown Labs in Somerville (North America’s largest climate-tech incubator), with additional access to the Cambridge Innovation Center and MIT’s The Engine in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA. This role’s responsibilities can primarily be completed remotely, but working on-site in our team setting is strongly encouraged for an optimal experience.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS, MS, or MBA in Business/Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain/Logistics, Data Analytics, Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Management Information Systems or related fields
  • Excellent and proactive communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and task-driven behavioral skills
  • Experience in or knowledge of the energy storage industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite products
  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability
  • Massachusetts-based, or attending a Massachusetts university to qualify for the MassCEC Clean Energy Internship Program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with analytical tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the company’s leadership team to inform commercialization efforts
  • Research, analyze, and report on market data and insights
  • Support a small, interdisciplinary team to promote operational efficiencies in a growing organization
  • Establish and develop relationships with corporate, commercial, and investor contacts
  • Research, identify, and draft operational policy development
