Our main facilities are located in Western Massachusetts, with this role embedding additional flexibility to work out of Greentown Labs in Somerville (North America’s largest climate-tech incubator), with additional access to the Cambridge Innovation Center and MIT’s The Engine in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA. This role’s responsibilities can primarily be completed remotely, but working on-site in our team setting is strongly encouraged for an optimal experience. Responsibilities florrent is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Intern, with experience working in a professional team setting supporting Business Development, Marketing, and/or Operations functions, to help us promote and optimize our next-generation supercapacitors. Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS, MS, or MBA in Business/Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Design or related fields, and/or hands-on professional experience in relevant positions
  • Excellent and proactive communication skills
  • Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, GSlides/PP, and/or Figma/Canva)
  • Clear writing skills and attention to detail; comfort with version control and deadlines
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability
  • Massachusetts-based, or attending a Massachusetts university to qualify for the MassCEC Clean Energy Internship Program

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the company’s leadership team to support business development efforts
  • Design sales enablement collateral: one-pagers, case studies, pitch decks, product sheets, and proposal templates
  • Create on-brand social content (primarily LinkedIn): graphics, short videos, and copy
  • Maintain brand consistency: evolve brand guidelines, templates, iconography, and asset libraries including material
  • Assist in exhibitions and trade shows, liaise with event organizer and vender, booth research and planning, brochure, flyer, banner, giveaway
  • Support marketing campaigns and lead generation (email, webinars, gated content, event follow-up)
  • Conduct market, opportunity and competitor research; Analyse and tender platforms and screen for opportunities and market needs, help create battlecards and positioning summaries
  • Complete light copywriting and proofreading across materials
