About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment and takes true ownership of marketing execution. The right individual will be able to jump in, solve problems independently, and keep campaigns, data, and systems moving forward with the mindset of a self-starter. You’ll own our marketing operations end-to-end, from HubSpot administration and attribution to campaign execution support and vendor management. We’re a small internal team working with outside agencies, so this role requires someone who is scrappy, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. If you love building order out of chaos and being the person people rely on to help “make it work,” let's talk.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with HubSpot (administration, automation, reporting).
  • 3+ years working with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Excel in an advanced capacity.
  • Proven experience managing marketing system integrations.
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience is strongly preferred.
  • You take ownership and follow through without reminders.
  • You are comfortable operating without perfect documentation or process.
  • You proactively communicate progress, risks, and blockers and are comfortable with Slack, email, and virtual meetings.
  • You are comfortable with documentation and outlining marketing operations and processes in Confluence.
  • You balance speed with accuracy.
  • You are comfortable being both the builder and the fixer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SEM, SEO, or paid media.
  • Familiarity with attribution models or BI tools (SQL, Mode, Looker).
  • Prior experience supporting growth funnels.

Responsibilities

  • Own marketing operations execution across campaigns, systems, and reporting.
  • Proactively identify gaps, broken processes, or delays and jump in to suggest solutions and fix them.
  • Ensure campaigns move from idea → build → launch → measurement on time.
  • Act as the operational glue between Marketing, Product, Technology, and external partners.
  • Serve as the HubSpot super user and administrator with full ownership of setup, hygiene, workflows, permissions, and governance.
  • Build and maintain workflows, automations, lists, lifecycle stages, and lead routing.
  • Own HubSpot CMS components tied to marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and prioritize work with our HubSpot agency (this role owns the relationship and delivery)
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation.
  • Own our martech stack, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Partner with IT to work seamlessly across marketing systems and tech-owned systems.
  • Implement, test, and troubleshoot integrations and tracking.
  • Use GTM to manage event tracking, conversions, and attribution.
  • Partner with Product to ensure accurate tagging across the funnel, including post-signup user behavior.
  • Identify tracking gaps and proactively recommend fixes.
  • Support campaign execution by building segments, workflows, landing pages, and tracking.
  • Own dashboards, reporting, and KPI definitions.
  • Ensure every campaign has clear success metrics and post-launch insights.
  • Lead experimentation and testing to improve performance.
  • Manage outside agencies and vendors with clear timelines, priorities, and accountability.
  • Keep projects moving even as requirements evolve.
  • Research and recommend tools or process improvements that increase speed and clarity.

Benefits

  • Shape the future of small business banking — help drive innovation and financial inclusion for business owners nationwide.
  • Competitive compensation — including salary, performance-based incentives (for certain roles), and equity participation in a fast-growing financial institution.
  • Comprehensive benefits — 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees, spouses, and dependents. 100% employer-paid life and disability insurance, and an employee funded 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Time to recharge — a flexible vacation policy designed to promote rest, balance, and well-being.
  • Inclusive, people-first culture — guided by our values of empathy, excellence, and bold innovation, with equal opportunities for all.
