About The Position

The Marketing Operations Team partners with key internal stakeholders to champion transparent, ethical, and high-quality commercial operations practices by fostering collaboration, driving operations excellence and delivering exceptional execution and service that meet the evolving marketing business needs. This intern role supports the optimization and execution of field sales and marketing processes, tools, and platforms that advance therapeutic products, patient programs, and healthcare provider engagement. Interns will work cross-functional with brand field sales, marketing, legal, compliance and other areas across the company on key functional activities that support their tactical and strategic priorities. This role will provide an excellent overview of the pharmaceutical business and the pivotal roles that sales and marketing operations provide for the business. Business Areas and Key Responsibilities: The intern will be trained on Policy and SOPs that support our business operation and execution, review process, training and communications and materials to support our business, provide input to analyze data, streamline workflows, and ensure that all marketing communications and activities align with regulatory and industry standards. This role offers hands‑on experience with pharmaceutical marketing technologies, compliance‑driven content operations, and data‑driven decision‑making, contributing to efforts that enhance brand visibility, customer education, and patient impact. This role will support key areas of the Marketing Operations business outlined below: Learn the process, workflows and tools to operate and execute compliant business activities Review, analyze and create communications and reference materials that support business areas Review, analyze and create various attendees, operation, compliance, data metrics and reporting across all internal business areas supporting Deep review and analysis of current metrics and reporting for Speaker Programs, Commercial Sponsorships Support business areas to identify assets requiring updates and reapproval resubmission in the Veeva in Fall 2026. Create Marketing Operations Newsletter Communication to highlight key monthly milestone activities, what’s coming soon along with key insights and analytics Promotional Speaker Programs Ensure educational speaker programs are conducted ethically and in compliance with company policy, regulatory guidelines by providing eligible healthcare providers with accurate, evidence-based information. Commercial Sponsorships Support of for- and non-profit or other appropriate organizations that are aligned to company goals of improving patient care and outcomes and supporting appropriate conventions and meetings conducted in the U.S. through the funding of separate commercial and medical information booths, exhibits or displays. HCP Fee-for-Service Activities The team facilitates meaningful and compliant interactions with healthcare providers (HCPs) and Non-HCPs, that include a fee-for-service, fostering trust and collaboration while adhering to industry standards. Examples include Advisory Boards, Speaker Training/Programs and Ad Hoc Consulting. Oversight of the reporting of payments and transfers of value to healthcare providers for commercial HCP engagement and ensuring transparency and adherence to federal regulations Promotional Materials Operation and oversight of efficient ordering and fulfillment of approved promotional materials and ensuring expired materials are destroyed/returned, and disposal of promotional materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing waste. Sample Accountability Track and manage the distribution of drug samples. Mandated by the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA), its primary purpose is to prevent drug diversion, ensure public safety, and maintain strict regulatory compliance. A strong program helps companies mitigate legal liability and regulatory risks associated with non-compliance. Promotional Review Team (PRT) The pharmaceutical promotional review process is a cross‑functional, regulated workflow that evaluates all promotional materials to ensure they are accurate, balanced, medically and legally compliant, and aligned with industry and FDA/OPDP requirements before release. Manage the workflow, coordination between stakeholders, and ensure timely reviews and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the process ensuring that promotional materials are approved swiftly and accurately to market

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on Marketing and/or Business Analytics (rising Junior or Senior preferred)
  • Strong academic record
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel analytics, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
