About The Position

The Marketing Operations Coordinator supports the execution of marketing and attorney talent initiatives through detailed planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality materials and communications. This role focuses on implementing approved marketing and attorney talent activities, with particular emphasis on content development, workflow coordination, and operational support. The Marketing Operations Coordinator ensures accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across marketing deliverables and serves as a key execution partner to marketing leadership by managing processes, tracking progress, and supporting reporting and documentation needs. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate daily with marketing and business development colleagues and stakeholders across the firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • One to four years of experience in marketing operations, communications, or a related professional services environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to follow established processes while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office productivity tools and content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, positive attitude and poise; be articulate and confident

Responsibilities

  • Apply firm and department strategy to the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing, attorney talent, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Execute marketing and attorney talent programs in alignment with established priorities, timelines, and business objectives.
  • Support and advance marketing AI initiatives for Ropes & Gray’s law student and recruitment audiences, including paid advertising, digital and print collateral, website content, social media, and other external recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Draft, edit, and finalize high-quality content supporting attorney recruitment, engagement, retention, internal communications, and AI-enabled marketing efforts.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain recruitment marketing materials, including AI-supported assets and an AI content library to accelerate delivery and ensure consistency.
  • Establish and manage ChatGPT and other AI alerts to inform competitive research, recruitment marketing strategy, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, business development, and business support teams to implement approved initiatives and ensure alignment.
  • Support campaign execution by managing tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and effective completion.
  • Track campaign activity and performance, maintain documentation, and assist with reporting on engagement, outcomes, and insights.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date content across marketing platforms, calendars, systems, and shared repositories.
  • Support operational excellence by documenting processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and following best practices.
  • Assist with maintaining marketing systems, tools, templates, and AI-enabled platforms used for planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Ensure all materials meet firm quality standards, brand guidelines, and messaging consistency.
  • Provide project coordination and administrative support across marketing operations initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving to continuously improve and centralize marketing and recruitment processes.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
