About The Position

The Marketing Operations & Activation Associate is responsible for driving customer engagement and revenue growth through effective marketing operations, activation planning, and technology integration. This role ensures flawless execution of B2B marketing, sales and product-related initiatives, leveraging marketing and sales tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of managing cross-functional projects, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, brand activation, or project management (CPG or food industry experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies (CRM, CMS, PIM, DAM systems).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with proven experience in KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Collaborative, proactive communicator who thrives in fast paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Willingness to support other roles and take on additional responsibilities when needed

Responsibilities

  • Implement marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and revenue generation, focusing on order frequency and basket size.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities by leveraging marketing and sales technology platforms (Pepperi, Mailchimp, Plytix, 1WS, Ring, GMF website, SharePoint/Marketing Hub, etc.) in collaboration with Director of Marketing and IT teams.
  • Manage marketing activation plans and ensure timely execution of campaigns and day-to-day marketing processes according to prepared briefs.
  • Collaborate with Sales to plan and deliver retail programs (displays, advertising, POP, etc.) and support daily marketing requests.
  • Manage all product-related projects—including new product launches, label updates, compliance issues, and supplier changes—ensuring timely project completion with key accountabilities and deliverables; be the project management platform expert (Wrike), ensuring process is continuously improved and SOPs updated and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Develop KPIs and measure performance for marketing programs and the business overall; develop reporting dashboards that can be easily used at all levels to guide decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date assets as the marketing lead for the PIM/DAM platform, Plytix; partner with IT to integrate key technologies and ensure seamless content distribution from a single source (e.g., Plytix to Amazon, Plytix to 1WS).
  • Continuously improve and document marketing processes and operations to boost efficiency, accessibility, and team performance; maintain the marketing calendar and access to shared assets.
  • Ensure master data accuracy by managing exceptions and maintaining platforms (Marketing Hub, Pepperi and SharePoint) in collaboration with the MD team.
  • Support operational acquisitions, such as integration and migration of data for acquired companies.
